Burak Dak’s second solo exhibition at x-ist “Men Strolling With Hands in Pockets” invites viewers to reflect on masculinity and toxic masculinity. According to the artist, masculinity has historically been constructed as an identity defined by rigid norms and power dynamics. Toxic masculinity, on the other hand, emerges as a harmful and destructive manifestation of these pressures.
