Ali Taptık's new exhibit in Warsaw, Poland

Ali Taptık is participating in the multi-national group exhibit titled "Diversity. Learning From Istanbul" in CCA Ujazdowski Castle (Warsaw, Poland) starting on September 17th. Curated by Kaja Pawelek and Serra Özhan, the exhibit examines the two cities in constant development, the metropolis Istanbul and the post-communism Warsaw; their social, political and economical dynamics and the changes they accomplish without breaking off from their past. Taptık takes place in the show with his photographs from his White Lies Series (2003) and a three channel video consisting of photographs from the series Accident and Fate (2006) and Nothing Surprising (2009). Works of Can Altay, Didem Özbek, Osman Bozkurt, Ergin Çavusoğlu, Orhan Esen, Deniz Gül, Emre Hüner, Ceren Oykut, Bas Princen, Tayfun Serttaş and Solmaz Shahbazi can also be seen in the exhibit until November 7th.
