Banu Birecikligil is participating in the group exhibit, "Verschleierte Wirklichkeitenstarting" on August 21, 2011 at Galerie Auf Der Freiheit, Germany. The exhibition examines women’s role in Contemporary Turkish and German Art as well as questionssocietal prejudices and stereotypes toward women. The other participating artists in the show are Mariazo, Müge Akçakoca, Gagel, Nurseren Tor and Nilbar Güreş. The exhibit can be seen between August 21st - October 2nd, 2011.
