CANAN is participating in the show "At the Bazaar of Gender: Feminine / Masculine" at the MuCEM - Museum of Civilisations from Europe and the Mediterranean, which will open its doors to public on 7 June 2013 in Marseille, France. The exhibition will offer a voyage through the diverse ways of being a man or a woman in the Mediterranean to approach one of the major issues of today’s societies, the relations between the sexes. CANAN is attending the show with two works: "Pink Dreams" (2003) and "Mother-in-law Waiting for the Virginity Rag" (2009). The MuCEM is a national museum which focuses principally on the Mediterranean cultures. It aims to be a center of contemporary research of international cultural cooperation; to support and participate in national and international projects within the contexts of exhibitions, conferences and discussions. The exhibition, "At the Bazaar of Gender", will be seen in between 7 June 2013 - 6 January 2014 at the MuCEM.
