There are eleven Turkish artists from different generations using a variety of techniques to evoke the theme of travel. Ceren Oykut is participating in the show with her three drawings (Swimming in the Fields, To Fly and Sleep), which take inspiration from everyday life to deal with the chaotic city. On the other hand, CANAN with her “Ibretnüma” video underlines the influence of the power structures, such as family, religion and the state, through the story of a young woman.
The other artists participating in the show are Ali Taptık, Murat Akagündüz, Silva Bingaz, Halil Altındere, Tayfun Serttaş, Hale Tenger, İhsan Oturmak, Gözde İlkin. "Journeys. Wanderings in Contemporary Turkey" can be seen from 10 October 2012 to 6 January 2013.
