Lale Tara's exhibit in Sakshi Gallery, India

Lale Tara participates in the multi-national exhibit titled "Tradition of the New" in Sakshi Gallery, Mumbai (India) with works from her recent show in September, 2009, "Doppelgänger (RUI)". Curated by Andree Lee, the show questions the relation between the new and the tradition, and can be viewed between 7-31 January, 2010. Although the Asian art world has just met Lale Tara through her works in the exhibit, Madonna con Bambino, Notausgang and 14 Karat Gold, she already aroused considerable interest. Newsha Tavakolian (Iran), Noriko Yamaguchi (Japan), Tsai Charwei (Taiwan), Tu Wei-Cheng (Taiwan), Kuo I-Chen (Taiwan), Jompet Kuswidananto (Indonesia) are the other artists taking place in the exhibit.
