Ansen graduated from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Department of Painting. The artist follows a multidisciplinary approach while creating his works and offers diversity in terms of technique. While using different materials suitable for the thematic structure of his works, the artist aims to make the audience think with an occasionally sarcastic approach.
Ansen’s works were selected for many international collections such as Emma and Joseph Cherian and Khaled Samawi’s collections in addition to prominent Turkish collections such as Papko Art Collection, Odunpazarı Modern Museum (Polimeks Holding), Eczacıbaşı, Lichtenstein Museum, and Istanbul Museum of Modern Art’s permanent collection. The works of the artist, who has participated in Sotheby’s 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and Christie’s Dubari 2011 and 2012 Turkish Contemporary Art Auctions, were featured in the books “Unleashed: Contemporary Art from Turkey” and “99 Square” printed in 2018.
